Equity Derivatives Data Quality Analyst Job Description:

Seeking a Senior Data Analyst with experience in Equity Derivatives. Working closely with front office trading and technology teams, we are seeking a highly capable financial data quality analyst to develop procedures to enhance the accuracy and integrity of our organization’s data. You will be performing data analysis, investigation, and verification, collaborating with developers to enhance data quality and accuracy.

To ensure success as a financial data quality analyst, you should exhibit extensive knowledge of data analysis techniques and experience in a similar role. A solid foundational understanding of equity derivative products is a must.  A top-notch financial data quality analyst will be someone whose data analysis expertise results in reliable information for trading decisions.



  • Performing statistical tests on datasets to determine data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborating with traders and developers to improve data generation, calculation, and collection.
  • Running data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleaning data.
  • Gathering data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and cross check validity.
  • Reporting data analysis findings to inform business decisions and prioritize information system needs.
  • Documenting processes and maintaining data records.
  • Adhering to best practices in data analysis and collection.
  • Keeping abreast of developments and trends in data quality analysis.


  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, information management, or similar.
  • 5+ years’ experience in financial data analysis.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, including Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and tests.
  • Excellent knowledge with Equity Derivatives is a must.
  • Data Quality /BA
  • Extensive experience with statistical packages such as MS Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of best practices in financial data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of Equity Derivative Products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay Rate: $730 W2 / $830 C2C or 1099
