Position Summary: Global investment bank is revamping its email marketing capabilities to better support its rapid growth as well as deepen client engagement. Seeking 3 -7 years experience a proficient email marketer both comfortable architecting a strategy as well as rolling up their sleeves and managing the execution of email campaigns. This is a newly created position will be part of the marketing team and will work with key stakeholders across business lines to determine campaign strategies and build target audience profiles and personas. You will partner with marketing team members on the continuous improvement for tactical campaign programs, intelligence reporting, and opportunities to maximize campaign effectiveness. You will leverage the marketing tech stack and team resources to design, build, and deploy email campaigns for the firm.
Help define the strategic vision for Jefferies’ email marketing program.
Develop and lead the end-to-end email campaign practice that is responsible for internal and external communications.
Create strategic campaign plans, establish goals and objectives, and define key performance metrics.
Oversee the design, build and implementation of multiple complex and concurrent campaigns.
Track and evaluate program effectiveness using data and insights.
Build and maintain automated customer journeys such as welcome campaigns, thank you emails, re-engagement, browse abandon, etc.
Contribute to email strategy from the operational perspective ensuring email deliverability and that they consistently follow corporate policies, branding and industry best practices.
Partner with IT to enhance contact management infrastructure and identify best practices for managing marketing’s database of contacts.
3 – 7 years of experience in marketing communications, digital marketing or project management Expert level skills using Salesforce Pardot for email automation, targeted email campaigns, and list management.
Prior experience using an email creation tool e.g., Stensul
Marketing experience in financial services or related industry.
Portfolio of successfully released campaigns for companies with defined marketing objectives to drive digital adoption, increase reach, and measurably change behaviors.
Experience using analytical intelligence and KPIs to report campaign results and campaign optimization opportunities that drive business results.
Familiarity with marketing tools such as, WordPress VIP, Salesforce CRM, Hootsuite, work management tools, Google Analytics, etc.
Ability to partner with Creative Services (in house and agency partners) and lines of business leads to understand strategic positioning and tactical dependencies.
Ability to partner with internal research team to uncover key insights and test new approaches.
Analytical and decision-making skills to identify and prioritize critical issues.
Ability to partner with IT department and client partners on the maintenance and hygiene of email contacts.
Excellent communication skills to articulate results to senior management.
