Full Job Description – Counterparty Credit Risk Business Analyst:
This Counterparty Credit Review Project (CCR) is designed to remediate identified gaps/observations in Credit Risk systems, data, staffing levels, and end-to-end processes and capabilities in order to elevate and strengthen internal practices, e.g., client onboarding, trade practices, internal controls, limit monitoring, reporting, collateral practices, escalation procedures, etc.

Counterparty Credit Risk BA Position Overview:
The Business Analyst (BA) role is responsible for supporting company’s CCR initiative. Main responsibilities include creating specifications, solutions, and requirements for business deliverables including reports, dashboards, data exchanges, processes, and data integrations between various platforms. The BA will work on solutioning deliverables as well as optimizing existing processes, trouble shooting, testing and debugging, data profiling, documentation and communication to the engineering teams.
Basic Requirements:
- Capture business requirements and convert them into technical specifications for development team via acceptance criteria and documentation
- Analyze Credit data to identify quality issues and work with Business teams to resolve
- Document business requirements and produce clear, actionable BRDs for consumption by technical teams; document procedures (current and proposed), policies, and technical workflows (using Visio)
- Perform analysis and solutions around data sources
- Assist Project Managers with presentations, minutes, updating project plans (MS Projects)
- Testing, troubleshooting, solutioning, and debugging production and QA issues
- Partner with technical teams and owning delivery of development items
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (including Visio, Projects, Excel)
Desired Skills:
- Financial Services industry experience, including Counterparty Credit Risk
- Highly organized individual able to produce and maintain documentation and follow processes
- Experience structuring data; knowledge of data languages and terminology
