Client Description:

Our client is an American Bank Holding, Wealth Management company headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our client is looking for a Project Manager to cover two programs; Compliance System: End to End project oversight for a compliance system implementation and Loan Administration Remediation: operations heavy and API upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • 2-10 years of effective Project Management in the Wealth Management sector
  • Experience in compliance system implementation
  • Experience in loan administration remediation
  • Experience with SDLC
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Experience with JIRA or similar development productivity tools
  • Microsoft office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • High motivated and self-starter

JOB SUMMARY

 The focus of this position will be to develop a Performance Management strategy for the organization, supporting infrastructure and lead the implementation of the strategy. Extensive knowledge and experience in software development, hardware, networking, performance monitoring and optimization is required. The position will report to the Head of Global Innovation and Technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a robust performance management strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement a robust performance management ecosystem and supporting systems.
  • Ensure successful and timely incident management, problem management and change management tasks related to performance matters.
  • Build and implement a comprehensive performance reporting system based on KPIs and trend analysis to improve existing systems and processes.
  • Implement a code review process and monitor/manage code quality across all development teams and systems.
  • Facilitate and manage Architectural Committee Meetings, including postmortems and minutes.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or technology/engineering field required.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in software development - focus on performance optimization strongly desired
  • Good understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking
  • Good understanding of CPU & GPU architectures and operation as it pertains to software performance optimization.
  • Applied experience in performance optimization of application stacks/ecosystems with multiple independent systems with different code-bases.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle, agile development methodologies and gathering non-functional requirements from stakeholders and product management
  • Strong applied experience of performance management and optimization as it relates to:
    • C++ and .NET applications
    • Multithreaded Applications
  • Applied experience of scripting languages (Python preferred)
  • Applied experience with:
    • Application Performance Monitoring & Observability Tools
    • Performance Analysis and Code Profiling Tools
  • Experience with basic Windows and/or Unix System Administration
  • Experience with statistical data analysis and visualization.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills required with the ability to communicate optimally and influence at all levels of the organization in a multicultural environment.

 DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with:
    • Visual Studio
    • .NET Framework (4.7.2+)
    • PowerShell
  • Experience with the Linux OS
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps Systems

The Role:

The Trading IT Support and FIX connectivity specialist will be well versed in design and implementation of FIX configuration and platform support. Ideal candidates must have very knowledge with FIX connectivity support experience in a production environment with expertise regarding FIX vendor practices and configuration standards. Onboarding, configuration/scripting, and project management skills are all requisite. This is a fully hands-on role in a real-time trading system environment. In depth understanding of interacting with vendors like NYFIX, ATR, Eze, Instinet-Newport, etc.

Hybrid Schedule: # days on-site, 2 days remote

Skills:

  • Some understanding of FIX at is pertains to Equities and Options order lifecycles.
  • Application log file analysis, reporting. This analysis must include scripting and/or programming as needed to do intricate / near real-time analysis in an ad-hoc environment.
  • Understanding of network layer as it pertains to FIX connectivity, intra/extranet vendor interactions, etc
  • Familiarity with buyside vs sell-side practices, physical and logical setup requirements gathering, testing and change management procedures.
